Did anyone else see the bike down on Tenn. I saw a yellow Suzuki down at aprox 1230-1am. He hit a pole and knocked it down, trasformer and all. I hope this guy is all right. I pray for him.

if he was going fast enough to take out a poll then more than likely he is either dead or breathing out of a tube, but i hope that is not the case.

I hit a Toyota Camery on Appleyard Dr. with my Ninja 1000R hard enough to blow all the windows out ..... They had to cut the car open to get the (at fault) driver out!!! I'm not Dead Or breathing through a tube......Lets hope for the best!!!

I was going ten miles an hour when I wrecked my bike, I was breathing through a tube for a while.
I wrecked my GS750 doing 30...into a brick mailbox - I was bleeding through a tube for awhile (lung was collapsing)

I layed my friends Katana 750 down in some grass next to his house at about 5mph

Yeah, same with me, after all the blood came out, I was breathing through a tube.
It's not so much the tube going in or sitting there that hurts (though it does hurt quite a bit), but rather the tube coming out...OMGWTFBBQ that crap hurts. It's like they pull and pull and pull, and about 6 inches comes out...then they pull some more and eventually a friggin' foot comes out. *shivers*.
I didn't have to breath through a tube or anything, but I was on Oxygen for 6 days. My dumbass managed to shatter my right shoulder socket, shattered the ball, 3 breaks in my should-blade, and broke my collar bone in half. Ever since then, I've had a new hatred of sneezing...
Oh yeah, isn't it the damnedest thing - how those bastard mailboxes just jump out into the middle of the road?

I found an unpainted speedbump on a corner in a bank parking lot. Got highended into one of the pillars at the drive-thru teller. Concussion, shattered the right side of my rib cage with 45-50 breaks, seperated all my ribs on the right side from my spine, dislocated my shoulder. Collapsed right lung and left half filled with blood by the time I got to the hospital. Found out that about 80% of motorcycle accidents happen in parking lots.

Wouldn't there be some sort of recourse with the bank. That sounds like a liability on the part of the bank, (unpainted speed bump).

I was more concerned with walking again at the time. Not really sure I could have done anything.

I had 2 collapsed lungs, broke every rib, cracked sternum, broke BOTH bones in BOTH forearms.... They outlined me in chalk in front of TCC & told the BITCH that pulled out in front of me I wasn't going to make it to the Hospital!!!!

CONCLUSION:
The rider not only lived he walked away from the accident. He was wearing his helmet, gloves, and leather jacket and had a minor laceration on his leg through his blue jeans. He said he lost control and started heading for the pole so he jumped off. Bike destroyed, pole destroyed.
