A friend of Dan's from FWB. I don't think people from those parts know how to clean their engines :taunt: ! Believe it or not, everything inside looks brand new.

L67 is the code for the 3800 s/c motors in gtp's(dan's car), and my Regal.
Running it lean=knock/detonation=chipped crappy stock piston
Lewis, (the owner), was running a smaller pulley, aftermarket pcm,(with more timing and higher shift points), but his exhaust still had the stock y-pipe which narrows to about 2 in.. He said he thinks his 2-3 shift slipped a little, which bumped the rev-limiter. When you hit the rev-limiter, apparently the first thing the pcm does is cut fuel  , and lean @ 6100-6200 rpms with about 12-13 psi of boost is not good.

Which is his own damn fault for not having an ignition box with a spark limiter.
