i donno. what this stuff does for the trans couldnt hurt anything. my clutches were the only thing wrong.
I've only used it on an auto but I would have to say it definitely does its job.

Hmm, that's different lucas stuff. It was in a bottle that looks like that, but it was red and fairly thick fluid.
Well all those additives are extremely viscous and that test does make a valid point. The best thing to do is just replace the tranny fluid because it will be the best decision in the long run.

dont know how many miles ya got, but its not recommended to change out the tranny oil over 75,000 miles. I took a class on transmissions, the story they told us was..a transmission will get use to the oil, it breaks down and creates a sludge inside the tranny. Then if ypu change out the transmission oil, it has new cleaning agents and detergents, that will go in and do what its suppose to do....clean the sludge...then that will loosen up the bands..among other parts and create or make worse..slipping...
But...ya may do it, and it may work great!! just thought i would pass on the info...

I use lucas tranny additive in my 85 blazer. I have a bone stock 700r4 with 140,000 miles on it. No problems yet. It really helps to firm up shaky shifts.
