to have 2 vehicles (race car and tow vehicle) with the race car beating Bo!! That will take a while b/c Bo is getting mighty fast on me, but that's my goal and i'm sticking to it. :p

If you knew how to fucking drive my race car, you wouldnt be whining like a little bitch about bos slow LT1... :idiot:

"race car" eh? You built a fine fucking race car there dumbass. Most people put rear's in their race car, where is this one? Oh, you'd rather fry a SPEC 3 clutch...MY SPEC 3 CLUTCH...fuckface! :p

BTW, race cars have autos, unless you put that in your next one, i'll see you in my rear view.

Race cars have "autos" only when pussys cant drive their 6 speeds-did fine for me wihout a rear. As for me in your rear view, bwahahhahaah, we will put our $$$ where our mouth is when the time comes, and the time is coming very soon for me :wicked:

Oh and you'd fry a spec 3 worse with a rear and constant dumps faster than the way i did :p

P. S. Dont argue with me bout race cars, especially "your" race car, you will loose :taunt:

It's "lose" not "loose", learn some English mothafucka! :taunt:

No way constant dumps would fry a spec 3 more than 5000 rpm featherings.

And this 6 speed did fine for you...for a 6 speed. If it was an auto with a stall, it would be mid 11's baby :headbang:

Yup, i was affraid of this... Once a dumb rustang owner, always a dumb rustang owner...

P. S. Yes constant dumping will do more than 5000 rpm feathering, as for if it was an auto w/ stall, it would still need the main ingrediant-REAR/GEARS with which u can do the same thing with a 6 spd, so shut up and learn how to drive :wicked:

I think you both need to stop whining...Bryan02TA should have bought an Auto to begin with(like me :wicked: ) and this Crazy-who-lets-this-guy-carry-a-gun-Bosnian should stop bitching about a car he no longer has :owned:

I will be in the 11's shortly so you will all be in my rearview....including Bo.

Bryan02TA, I'm a former Mustang owner like yourself...converted over to the LS1 and haven't looked back. I have raced the car you now own in my old 99 GT with 100 shot. Alen and I never went from a stop but from a roll we were pretty even into triple digit speeds...I think we shut down when my nose was at his rear bumper...I had a car load of people to just himself also which may have played a slight role.

Alen will not be so lucky the next time around, and he knows this :wicked:

The mustang just needed some juice-while the ole TA was a bolt on car only... :D ...As for ur LS1, it is/will be stout, but i dont even have one yet to compare. All i have is my bike :wicked: ...We could always line up what i have :taunt: ...Btw i'm glad you are down here and have what you have, it will just be more of a motivation for me to go faster once i get mine :kinson:

I will admit the Mustang needed a power adder to hang and that bike of yours is sick. I love being down here again. We definitely need to all get together some time. We could all hang out at my house and shoot the shit, play some ping pong and bench race...also I'm planning on being at Silver Dollar on the 22nd or the 29th of this month to test out my new additions...you game?

Huh...I was wondering what your setup was...I think the LS1 brakes are bigger in the back which makes a spacer almost necessary unless you wanna grind the shit out of the calipers. I would like to not run spacers at all, especially on the drive wheels but I did buy the extended ARP studs.

What's up Segall! Man it has been awhile...Adam has an 01 WS6 6 speed stock and needs to run it at a good track. I'm hoping he comes to Silver Dollar this month...you in? Man your car has gotten quick 8) ...should be a good race between us!

Youre right, the brakes on a LS1 are bigger but grinding the rears isnt that big of a deal. There are a couple guys on here that have done it. I ground my rear calipers but it only took a little bit with my lil LT1 brakes. There are a couple of writeups on it. Ill look for em. With the longer studs, youre gonna have to put them in while the axles are out of the c-clips when youre gears are getting done but Im sure you knew that. ;)

Cam is still undecided...I can't seem to decide cause every week I want a different one.

Bo...I would love some clarification on the wheel stud issue...here is what I have heard...with TCS cars you can just pound them out and draw them in with a lug nut just like the fronts...with non TCS cars like mine...you have to take the axles out and have them pressed in.

Now I have also heard that the procedure is the same regardless of TCS...meaning you can just treat it like the fronts and pound them out too. I don't know which way to believe until I get under there and take a look.

Hmm...tech talk in the lounge...is this allowed.

Brian,

Grow a set and leave the cam in. Hell add a vacuum canister if you don't like the idle.

What he needs to do is get a real tune. My cam is just as extreme, more lift, etc, and I have NO problems at all. I start it up in the morning, it finds idle immediately, and off I go. No need to let it warm up for 5-10 minutes, just keep it under 2500rpm and it's fine. No bucking, no surging, nothing.

Bryan- I can get you a kick ass tune by the same guy who did mine (gomer) for ~$200 plus dyno time, with free re-tunes. If you're interested, send me a PM.

Yep. Tuning works. I run a very small cam myself so tuning really isn't required.

While a tune might be what he needs, it isnt what he is going to do to fix his problem. Some people may think he is going backwards, some may not but all in all, Im sure Bryan is making the best desision for himself, and maybe his wife too. Lemme know when everything goes down, Bryan. :)
