Went down to SCT in Orlando for Chris to dyno tune the car. Was still pretty much using the tune we did on the dyno before the cams. I had made some small fuel changes and idle changes to the car for the cams. These pulls were made on a Mustang Dyno showing Dynojet numbers.

Baseline pull was 294 rwhp 317 tq. Which we made 3 total pulls to start off with to work on a/f meter problem they were having. It made 294 all 3 times.

He then started to play with it and after a couple hours of trying some things he got it up to 301 rwhp 322 tq :) But then I mentioned to him about how the car ran at the track one time when I forgot to plug in the MAF. So we made a pull without the MAF hooked up. The car responded with 297 rwhp but a/f was off a bit. So he fixed the fuel table and it now made 305 rwhp 335 tq LOL. No MAF, no check engine light. It runs fine MAFless. Now to play with the 2 tunes at the track (Maf vs no Maf) and she how it reacts at the track :)

Not bad. I was waiting to hear how it did on the dyno. I am still baffled by the car running w/o the maf hooked up. It should run like crap.

Cost depends on what you need done, and yes they reflash there.

Does this mean the MAF is a restriction?

Yes, of course just about anything in the intake track is a restriction to a point. I think it was more of the inlet pipe being a restriction since its smaller then the MAF and TB.

www.jmschip.com in Mobile can hook you up with what ever you need done. They have a Mustang Dyno and now a Dynojet.

what does your car run ET in the quarter? mph?
trying to compare what my GN might run. It makes a little more HP and Torque, but your numbers would give me a basis..

You can't use Tony's car to judge your cars times... just the fact of Tony BEING IN the car and on a racetrack adds 25-30 hp. :kinson:
