I guess I could call and talk to the guy. He has his number and all listed. And it's a business not a private seller.

I've seen used T56 go for 700-1200 mostly... sounds kinda high to me.

That's what I was thinking. Does anyone know a timeframe for about how long it would take to put it in and have it running?

you dont need a console and i dont know if that comes witha wiring harness. its still too pricey. look on ls1tech, you should be able to find em for around a grand. a buddy found me a built one on ebay for 1200. 2 grand is way too much

When you say built, do you mean rebuilt or built for more strength? And how long did it take you to get your truck on the road after you started with the tranny?

re-built for more strength/upgraded parts... sorta like a rebuilt man trans tranny. my tranny wasnt what held me up, so time is pretty irrelevant as i did the motor at the same time, and a few other things. it can be done in a few days if you have all the parts together first

cant use the console, cant use the master cylinder, cant use the pedals.

this is a simple CAR conversion, not a truck. different parts. if you buy a spec clutch you can get a flywheel with it for cheap...again my clutch assembly was $408 and came with a standard flywheel. that and the bellhousing is ALL you need as far as the tranny.
