How do you think they would feel about all of us invading thier ricer shop to use the dyno? I am down for it.

That would be awesome!:D
Mustang Dyno's are ok. They do have some cool features. But after being on JMS's. I wouldn't want to pay to dyno on one, unless I knew 100% the guy runnin the dyno knew what the hell he was doing.
Anyone know if NRG has the cheap dual roller MD or the single roller one?

How much do you guys think it costs to buy and set up a dyno? I am thinking that I need to quit the auto tech job, get a loan and buy a dyno, rent a shop, and do nothing all day but charge people to run on it.

I have heard that is takes about 10 grand to buy a good used dyno. I dont know how accurate that is but I wouldnt plan on any less than that but that would be sweet. Can you say club discount!:D :P

For an in ground Dynojet248 (1200 hp capacity) its 30K. I had a catalog from DynoJet, its got some cool info (just gotta find it again). Im looking into buying one and renting out a bay down in Ft Lauderdale to start. But im pretty sure Ryans car will be premanently strapped on it

you'd probably make more money with a mobile dynojet so you could go around to carshows and stuff
if you want to be a tuner i would suggest a loading dyno like mustang or superflow. i think they have the ability to switch between loading or inertia mode
