What do you guys and gals think about these for the mach? I think they would be cool. Are they too bling, cause I am not after that effect.

I think those wheels are pretty badazz. Ive seen them before on a mustang, and love the style.

Jeffro just pointed out to me that those are Eleanor's wheels. Still tight though.

I looked again and the only bad thing about them is that they are only 8 inches wide.

those are nice.
Hey Mach, have u looked at the new 5.0 magazine, they do a 99 Cobra vs. 01 Bullitt vs 03 Mach. You'd be very impressed with what the Mach did, check it out!

Yeah, thanks I saw that article. Its a good one! I always kind of wanted a bullit, I think they are very cool.
It does suck that they are only 8 in. wide. I would only be able to use a factory sized tire.

i really like those mach... the width does kinda blow unfortunately, but at least ur tires would be pretty cheap.
You can run a 275/40 on an 8" wheel, if you wanted to... like a Nitto DR, perhaps?

275's are great but 315's are better! :P

You guys think I can safely get away with a 275 on an 8 in. rim? I have heard both things. Would not want a tire separation at triple digit speeds! (not that I would ever break any speed limits) :D

I have 275 Nittos on my 8 in. Bullitts.

I ran 275's on my 17X8's forever on my 94, no problem.

you won't have any problems running at speeds on 275's on an 8" rim. i've been 150+ on em and had no prob's.
You can get them in 17x9 sizing that would even allow for 315's (although that may be pushing it just a bit) from here

and get the trico center caps from here
http://www.halibrand.com/index_frames.htm .
FWIW, I think the Halibrand style you're looking at is one of only two or three wheels that would look like they belong on a Mach 1. The ones that come with the car make it look like they tried too hard to make the retro thing happen. Ford should never have tried to stretch out the old Magnum 500's like they did. Either the Halibrands or a nice set of the Torque Thrust II's. The TTII's are available up to 17x11", so if you really wanted to get crazy...

There's another one that I think would look perfect on your car, but I'm reserving them for my car (kinda like calling "shotgun", right?) in advance so one of the other two will just have to do  j/k http://www.americanracing.com/images/wheels/big/b202.jpg
EDIT: Thanks Tony- I'm having fun now.

I agree 100 %. I am not much for the mach1 rims, I personally don't think they even look like the magnum 500s at all. It will probably be a ways down the road before I buy wheels, but I wanted to get opinions on those Edelbrock wheels. Eleanor is one of the baddest cars on the planet, and it would not shame me to put her wheels on the mach! Hell, I think the plain bullit rims would look a ton better than mine.I like the TTII's, but everyone seems to have them already, especially the hotrod crowd.
