My truck starting a nice knocking noise in the bottom end yesterday. It sounds horrible, but is only noticable at an idle when it is cold. I do not know what to do next for now i'm just gonna baby it like a grandma.
But i guess you would never have any fun if you didn't break stuff huh.

My truck knocks when I start it up in cold weather. But it's always done it.

Yeah i change my oil every 2900 miles or so. I am extremely careful about oil, and i only had 2,000 miles on my last oil change. So i changed it again and put a lil heavier weight oil.

how hard do you drive it and are you the original owner? this really sux man--and that extended warranty idea may not be too bad but read every bit of covered and non covered components. i've dealt with shitty situations where a non covered item caused a coveried item to go bad therefore the repairs are not covered. and that's horse shit when someone pays good money for for it. see if there is any knda of ford extrended plan-no aftermarket warranty companies.

Oh I drive the truck hard, I have too. No I'm not the original owner I bought it from Ford with 27,000 miles on it. Yeah I'm gonna pull off all the modds and bring it to the dealership I bought it at in Spring Hill, Fl (North of tampa). My dad has a fleet pricing acount there and we've bought probably 15 vehicles from them over the years so they better take care of me. Yeah i should get a ford program and not some bullshit aftermarket program.
