You might have noticed when I left last night. It's fine until about 5800, probably the coil which is one that I put back on after replacing it for this very reason, (the new AutoZone Coil worked well but the bracket was broke). Anyways ordered a new Crane Coil last night.

how new are your plugs and wires?
just go through and make sure they all have a good connection.
that coil might help.

Ya, Its probably the coil. I am running a $13 stock replacement coil and it works fine but that Crane will probably spark hotter. Also, you might wanna check your coil wire and make sure it is connected all the way or isnt arching. Good luck with it man.

Plugs and wires are all brand new, AC Delco Plats and Taylor OVC's with heat shields. If any of those bitches are burned I'm gonna be pissed.

Yeah, breaking up at the top usually means, there is a lack of spark or fuel. How many miles you have on your fuel filter?

How old is your fuel pump? If its old, it might be able to maintain pressure at lower engine speeds but not up top. It's ability to flow enough volume at those engine speeds may not be up to snuff. Don't rule out a set of plug wires, either. I have seen some damn expensive ones cop out when they weren't supposed to, and some cheap-ass wires rev to 8000rpm.
