Already?! Nice numbers from only 3.5 psi.

Yeah, almost a 100hp gain with 3.5 psi, that is awesome. I'm interested to see what it will do when they get it all ready to bump up to 6 psi!

I'm not so sure about the bewm. I mean, boost isn't the real killer, detonation is. And 6psi of boost is not a ton. We'll have to wait and see how strong those powder connecting rods really are.

I think a few have already blown up. I was trying to find the thread, but I can't remember on what board it was posted.

The block and the con-rods are weak in that engine. I don't see a lot of those engines living through it...

The piston skirts on the new gt's are very short along with the ringlands being shortened. This engine was not designed to see boost.

I sure am glad they cut some corners to keep the cost of the new Mustangs down

I guess I don't get it. Pay the money for a Twin Turbo set up and get 360 HP, I don't think so. If you're going to pay the money for a turbo setup, build the motor and make a 1000 driveable rear wheel ponies. Getting decent gas mileage along the way.

That was just the prelim testing. Kinda like using the stock 6lb blower pulley to make sure everything works before you crank up the boost.
