I salute you, and anyone for that matter anyone currently serving in the military. There is no more honorable profession. The video brings back memories, especially the sailor seeing his baby for what I'm sure is the first time. Two of my four sons were born while I was on deployment, seeing them for the first time is hard to describe. I will always be proud of my military service. I may not always agree with my country's policy, but I will always be proud to be an American.
Semper Fi.
Good vid. Somebody asked me why I wanted to watch the military vid. I said "It's not a military vid- it's an American one". Go USA.

It is until you see a video like this that you take freedom forgranted. I like to say I don't, but we all do in some shape or fashion. Without the men and women of our military, and of course their families, we would not be able to live the life we do.

Roger that. Didn't have any kids born while I was gone but I was over in that litter box for Desert Shield/Storm. 3rd Provisional Wing, 43rd Fighter Squadron. F-15C/D/E models. Nothing like the smell of JP4 in the morning. To me, the sound and sight of freedom is seeing a pair of E-models taking off in full burner, locked and loaded, with a sound that's so deafening it's music to your ears. I tell ya, the DB Drag Races don't have shit on a pair of F100-PW-22* engines that are lit with 60' 7-ring burners. Like Mark said, I'm also a very proud Vet.
For those that haven't ever seen "the rings" here's a pic - it's not an E-model, but you get the idea.

man seems like just yesterday i was on that long ass flight out of that shit hole of a place. even though i dont really remeber the flight from balad to spain thanks to a valume and some benodryl. and then the same from spain to the great usa. it was one weird thing getting off that plane, seeing pine trees and it was rainy and cold. something we didnt see for a long time and the smell of fresh air. weirdest thing was giving up your weapon right off the bird, damn i kinda miss it
