Well I lost power at my house last night for probably a good hour. Bo was the only one here with me. I had just finished eating a sandwich and was about to eat some tater tots, when the power went out. So after waiting outside with Bo for the power to come back on, we go back inside for a bit. I noticed on the wall that the keypad in kitchen was lit up. I guessed that it might be run off a battery. So I started hitting the buttons fucking around and then the fucking siren went off! Holy shit it was so loud. I have never paid for any service to get my house monitored, so I didnt think it would work. So eventually I get up on a stool and rip the speaker box down, and cut the wire. I then ripped off the keypad because it was ringing as well. So after all that me and Bo go back outside. Still no power. Then off in the distance we here sirens. I was like "hope they arent coming here, hehehe". Then the sirens start to get closer. I told Bo, "I dont have service so there is no way they would come here." Sure enough 10 minutes later a fire truck pulls up and 3 fireman come up to the garage. I told them, "sorry guys, there isnt anything going on here." They said they got a call. I told them that my cats were playing with the keypad because it was the only thing lit up in the house :lol: They said that ADT had dispatched them. Then another fire truck pulls up! Anyways, they ended up just taking my name down, and went on their way. I couldnt believe it.
