man i just shelled out 7 large for a new set of tires...... :x
btw you can run 275/40 up front without it rubbing those guys
at discount tire told me that they would rub

275/40 is what I run up front... on these 17x9 and on my old 18x9.5's on the 6. You'll get some slight rub at full turn on a 9"+ wide wheel, but nothing to worry about.

Kumho's are less than that, less than $100 on tirerack.com, once you add shipping it's close though. I just can't wait for my drags!!

Slicks mounted an Prestige Tire and Auto, most rims. 878-5220 ask for Frank. Boss willnot allow me to do mods..:( but we do everything else...:D

For anybody coming from this board I will mount and balance tires for 7.50 per tire if we can do it. I cannot do low profile..:( 245/45/17 is about my limit.

I would want to see the tire .. I think I could do it Is it is taller than a 245/45/17 if so I don't see a problem.

If Im not mistaken a 275/40 and a 245/45 should be almost the same as far as sidewall heigth. Ill just have to let you see them when I get ahold of them.
