Well just b4 I hit the order button on HPTuners a deal came up for the new EFILive 7 with 5 PCM licenses. It arrived today and IF it is possible I'd like to recoup some of the cash I put in it (ouch!). So if anyone is interested in burning up ^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H err, tuning/logging/scanning their engine I can be talked into loaning it out as long as you are willing to purchase one of the 4 available PCM licenses! Each additional PCM license costs $100 on the web site so that's what I'll sell em for. Obviously I'll want to set some conditions for anyone who buys in but it will be common sense stuff like show SERIOUS respect for the equipment, you breaky - you fixy, etc. I might be able to loan a laptop with it but dont count on that or a wideband o2 either.

I really wanted EFILive over HPTuners anyway so it's no big deal if no one wants to buy in. I just needed an excuse to spend the extra bux and finding a new in box 5 PCM license version for the same price as a single made the temptation tooo much!!! Oops... Needless to say I'm sleeping with the dogs for the next few nights... Oh well, I gots me a new toy :joystick:

Does it have to be a specific year, or could say Dan, Jeremy, and I all run on a single l67 license?

EDIT: well they both have 97's, but could I get up on that to?

Meh. It's supposedly pretty nice, on par with HPTuners, but I'm not big on PCM-locked software.

Its LS1 software and will accept any LS1 based vehicle car or truck.

jlaw, I dont like the VIN locking either but with HPtuna you can only pick vehicle model years (yeah that is A LOT nicer if you know 20 people with a 2001 fbody) whereas this cable will lock itself to a VIN and 20 more can be added for $100 a piece. I think that is a fair trade off and may wind up being far more useful than other licensing schemes. It dont hurt that the company is extremely customer oriented as well.
