:funny: Makes you wonder if they saw you around town somewhere, got your tag number, did some research and called you in the attempt to do some ambiguous advertising to someone they knew needed their service.

you tend to not drive around with a 16" crack in your windshield, id be afraid it'd go at anytime. and they're on the opposite side of town(around springhill and orange)

Good to hear they did ya right. They screwed me.

When I had an addition made to the house, I did the whole rear wall in glass. 5, 5'x5' windows. They were older windows I had picked up cheap and I knew the inserts would have to be replaced.

I Lee & cates come out and quote me on replacing the fog'd inserts and w/e parts they thought werent in good shape. After $2000.00 and 2 weeks they put the in the inserts. I got home and gave the inserts a look, and they had NOT put the retaining strips back in. I called and they blew me off, saying they would replce the strips when the window cylinders came in(the lil springs that assist in opening the window and keep it up).

A week goes by, I have open gaps all around the windows and it made the room hard as hell to keep cool (summer). They come out, and the guy's all pissy saying I need to speak with his manager because they had lost some of the old retainer strips and didnt have anymore. this is after waiting a week for them to get new ones. He replaces 3 of the windows retaining strips, and guess what...they dont work. He catches an attitude and leaves. I call his manager and he tells me they arent responsible because of the age of the windows. he said they would see what they could do to make me happy.

Another few days go by and I call to see whats going on. They pretty much tell they arent going to do anything. They wouldnt refund my money for the support cylinders because they had to buy them... I threaten to sue, they said they'd send out another service guy to check it all out. The guy doesnt call, just goes to the house without letting me know. He half-ass shoves more retaining strips around the windows they hadnt done the first time and leaves a note saying no one was home so he couldnt fix the cylinders.

Two months later, two of the inserts are bad, they have hummidty in them. None of the large windows will stay open. and they dont give a crap..

Long story longer....they can kiss my ass and I'll never do business with them again. yeah, I should sue, but I had more problems home-depot at the time and it kinda got forgot about.
