I like "fucked up think movies" if that makes sense...like American Beauty or Adaptation. I'll watch anything really though (just not Hulk).

Some stuff you might like from what you said:
The Rules of Attraction (American Psycho prequel)
Donnie Darko
Memento
Requiem for a Dream
and a couple of my favorites:
The Royal Tenenbaums
Wet Hot American Summer

Requiem for a Dream is crazy, i didn't like it, buy Memento is hard to figure out, which makes it cool. The whole movie is in reverse.
I say go get Resident Evil. I just watched it 2 nights ago and there is a laser scene that is awesome!!

mike, if you like fucked up movies... I highly recommend donnie darko if you havent already seen it. the shit in it is so random. A jet engine crashes into a boy's room who has haluginogenic visions of an evil duck at night who tells him to do shit. I was half drunk when i saw the movie... and i passed out before it was over... that was as far as I got... but it seemed good.
"the beach" is also a cool... halfway fucked up movie... also highly recommended!

four rooms is fucking funny as nuts
Things To Do In Denver While You're Dead-
Andy Garcia
Christopher Walken
William Forsythe
Treat Williams
Gabrielle Anwar
Christopher Lloyd
Steve Buscemi.
It's fun, it's different, and you'll watch it twice to get it.
I watched Memento a few weeks ago and didn't think much of it. I got it, I just didn't think much of it. I will, however, concede that it was one of the more original approaches to moviemaking that I've seen in awhile.
