what pisses me off more is that i left my regulator for my gas bottle in pensacola somehow. i swore i put it in my truck. i've got to go to lowes anyways to make an extension cord to plug it in to the dryer outlet. my welder has a different plug than the outlet.

apparently the UPS guy sits back in the woods over here on the east side of town for some "breaks". the FEDEX man told me so as he delivered my stuff around noon that day.

I really haven't had bad luck with any of the delivery service companies. If you think about it, they do it for a reason. Unless you specify you want the item there early, they bring it later thinking people could be working earlier in the day. I know I hate getting a yellow slip!!

That is if you go through Ground service. I think they really could care less what time it gets there. Just as long as it gets there on the scheduled delivery date.

you guys are on the west side of town and here i am farthest away from ups on the east side, yet all my stuff gets here between noon and 2-3pm on a regular basis. amazing. :shrug:

this is why everyone needs to find a daily shipment place to have stuff delivered if they need it asap. i get ALL my stuff delivered to Stereo Sales, i never have to worry about it getting stolen, someone not being there to sign for it, and it comes between 9-11:30AM so i get it while i'm still awake and a day sooner most of the time. its not UPS's fault if your not there to sign for a package, you can leave a note to have them leave it regardless of a signer and most UPS drivers will do so, if you're not worried about theft.
