How about a poll about this....
Who wants to keep the Timeslip DB current and only with info on current vehicles? And who wants to allow any timeslip you have ever run?

I don't think its just Racer, its the same reason I never posted my 88 or 89 in the Timeslips. Sure they both ran 11.20s, but that was a long time ago. Heck the 88 will still do it (if I ever get it goin again :) ) . But it was a "current" thing with them. And I prefer current info.

I like what jlaw said, if theres no chance of any1 seeing it at a meet or at a local track then it shouldn't be posted.
Also to clearify, I still plan on makeing 2 lists when I can. If we want to keep the current DB only current timeslips.
When and if the guy has the time to finish the Vbgarage, it will have the ability to post what ever you want in it. But I want the ability to choose between the "current timeslips" and someones personal best.

i dont see the big deal with best current blah blah. in reality isnt this whole things just a pissin contest? so why not show personal best for a car that you owned and drove. not a car you rode in or what not. hell i have flown in a airplane finally and i went like 550mph. some of you guys make stupid jokes like this because of me posting my car up. well i am proud of going that fast in my car that i owned and drove.

I think Tony should do whatever he wants, though it is nice he is asking for your guys opinion. I think the timeslip database was to help keep info on people's cars. Last time I checked, if you sell a car you lose ownership and it becomes someone else's property. Now if you are in such a need to tell people that your penis is still really big, and that you used to own a car that went fast then put it in your signature. That way everytime we see your post we will know how cool you are. It could go something like this:
Previous ride:
'88 Mustang - superfaster than all you bitches and my penis is so big it had to ride shotgun.
Current ride:
'insert shitty car here'

It showcases the local cars who choose to post their current times. No one is saying personal bests are invalid, merely that they belong elsewhere.

Also right now vBGarage and timeslip DB are seperate. I hope to somehow intergrate them later. But right now, we could use vBGarage as the Personal Best section. Since it allows descriptions and photos to be loaded.

DATA BASE not up to the minute timeslip ticker. i just seen the post Gt made in the other area because someone pointed it out to me. and i edited some things i said in the last day or so due to that. s oyou need to take a chill pill biotch :D

dood i dunno who you guys gather your info from but they/ you suck at the info game. we have been through this already and i gave atleast 5 people that you could notify to backup my shit. so drop it i owned this car and drove this car and went personal best of 9.63 @137. stripped the car sold the car guy put nascar motor in blew up i was driving. and then that was that. the car got stripped again and whored at lill more and then just got totaled out making 5.30 1/8mi passes just a month or two ago. i havnt posted that i did that only what i accomplished. you guys make me laugh cause you think i care enough about you to lie and pull your leg. i mgiht pull your leg but again im not trying to impress anyone here.

um in my first post on this subject i said that would be kewl to do a seperate place which ever. quit reading only what you guys want to read. Very embarrassing. Time to get a new car for cheap and then mod it out. I figure, drive the Altima until I can get a good paying job and keep it as a daily driver, buy something nice(Mustang of some sort or maybe an old Camaro), and then have something good to go there. I like the idea of having current times in there but when then software comes out, I think we should have one for the personal bests. Keep up the good work Tony.
