i am scheduled to get beat by a Tib when I go home, so a little confidence booster could help haha. BTW My it's friend Mike Nolan I was telling you about. He has an AEM CAI, NxtGen Headers, BP Crank Pulley, Mussa Exhaust, Ported Upper/Lower Intake Manifolds, Stage2 Spec Clutch, Fidanza Flywheel, Tein Springs, and then the 75 shot (but he isn't using that on me). I copied and pasted all that so I don't really know what all that crap is haha, but I'll bet you do. He goes low 9's if not high 8's in the 1/8th off the nitrous. I can't remember and the old site with his time on it doesn't work anymore.

That vette driver was a total moron. He was a cross-eyed, hair slicked-back, redneck. The car is quick, but he wouldn't give dan a fair run. He just kept taking off whenever we got close. Sad.

Improper lane change. The same cop in the expedition. Nice guy, *shrugs* but that's it. $75.

Btw, he specifically asked if I was "one of those guys?" I said "which guys are you referring to?" He says, "i've seen lots of them muscle cars; camaros, firebirds (laughs), and corvettes going westbound, then eastbound. Were you part of that group?" (reply) "no sir, I wasn't driving with them, but I saw who you were referring to."

Basically he said he's cruising around the area to cut off the racing scene and to make sure he gets DUIs. So there you have it.

So when I pulled out of walmart he tailed me, then flashed his lights when I changed lanes behind another car *semi close* and without proper signaling. He said I was following too close to the car in front of me, but would only cite me for the improper lane change. So, at least he was courteous and somewhat forgiving.

That's why i enjoy street racing better than the track--i get so much of an adrenaline rush cuz anything can happen. with god as my co-pilot, i am safe...and fast :rice: .
