Well the motor and trans are being sold. My brother purchased the motor, just need to sell the T56 sometime <--- (ATTN: BO)
Might stick another LT1 or SBC in there... havent decided yet. Whichever it is, the benchmark is 9.80s NA :slowet:

If i stick with the LT1, about 381-388 cubes, DFI, 4bbl TB, th400... the SBC woudle be a carbed ~406-427 cubes. Yes the motor will come out of the orange ride... cam, headers, clutch

It kind of a shame to see that motor out after it took us forever to get those dam headers on

Good job Adrian. I do the same thing on mine to change the plugs.

T i can call ya for the LS1 removal... but its gotta be on a Thursday/Friday :joystick: When i removed the headers, i wondered how the fack yall put them fackers on. It was a pain with the motor out of the vehicle.
Yeah, the dolly is just some 2x4s and 2x6s and some 330lb casters from Harbor Freight. It took a while cause i had to firgure out what to dissamble/remove/disconnect from the vehicle. I think i can do it in 2 hours with another set of hands. I also picked up a 4L60E for the motor...

I took us longer than I want to admit but we could have pulled the motor and done it quicker.

It really didnt take us that long to get the LT's in it just took us forever to get the damn stock manifolds out.

Thats the fucking truth. LS1s are easier because they're not as damn rusted stuck as the old shit lt1 manifolds.

We snapped all 6 bolts holding the manifolds to the stock Y clean off when takin them out. Bolts were just a pain to get to also from top or bottom. Then whoever had the car before me snapped a bolt in the head on the driver side 2nd from last in the back.

OK... a break from the retards. Got this nice little notice on my front door this morning. Im not upset at the fact that the code enforcement idiot displayed NO 'same team courtesy'. Im pissed at the fact that i have ONE day to fix the problem. :wtf: I just have to replace the kmember on the car so it sits on all four tires. :slowet:
http://www.stang.cc/tmcaalbums/slowet/P1010484.jpg
gotta love it. seen more than my fair share of those types of notices. BTW you can thank one of your neighbors for that. you can be almost 90% sure someone called them on you.
PS if you need some emergency help I can head over there tonight.
