this is my first day back to work since some day last week.
my days off are more frequent than my days in lately.
work sucks.
why can't TMCA be a profitable business, fella's?

so people like me don't have to come in to a job i dislike on a daily basis. i would rather work on or sell car parts all day long.

what do y'all think?
can we turn TMCA into a business?
it could be a performance/used car/parts sales shop?

all we need is a federal grant to get started.

Mathew Lesko says that's shits easy as hell.
he says the gov't gives all kinda $ away, all the time.

Someone needs to buy an old beat down shop and rent the lifts. People could pay by the hour just like back in the day when eveyone used to work on their own cars. Would any of you pay like $15-20 an hour to rent a lift?

Nope, I would still bug the hell outta T until he let me use his garage!

Seriously, I have thought about doing this up in Atlanta and almost had it started right before I moved down here. Its actually pretty easy to do when you have a business plan. I could see if I still have mine laying around somewhere but if not, I think I could remember alot of the bits and pieces that made it work. I would say that we would be able to bank here in Tally.

Seems like most of the TCMA Speedshop's customers would be TCMA members though...

It would start out that way but word would spread about how awesome we are and we would be millionaires in no time. :Bo wakes up now:

True but if we could find a shop that is struggling with business and rent a bay or 2 from them, we could use their insurance.

an idea i thought of a while back was to open a car dealership that sells hooked up cars. like brand new escalades with rims already on them, dropped stangs with superchargers and all the goodies, z28's, firebirds, etc. there would be different level packages that the customer could choose such as race/street/handling, but the idea is to sell the cars with the goodies already on them. also when someone gets ready to purchase a car, we could provide them with the dyno numbers and quarter mile times. also the dealership could do performance work for add-ons to the cars after they are purchased if the customer wants something different......heck we might even sell SRT's ;)

come back out of LALA-land guys.

I had thought of trying to find a small shop and put a lift in, and have dues from each member to cover the rent. Its just not possibly in so many ways.
