No, I say don't let this one go. Once the rules get bent to allow one type of car in, then the flood gates will open. This class should have NO flexablity, like you stated, there are a coupla classes that went to shit after that happend. Stay on them.

It sounds like Klass isn't going to allow this guy in, or any changes to other cars that might start an avalanche of allowances for other cars. Klass is trying to keep it even, and that's probably due in no small part to the fact that guys like you are speaking up. It makes it easier for him to say no to variances like this guy was trying to get.

You and the other guys in the class (with the exception of the clown advocating the SSC) have made it clear that you support the current rules adopted by the class, and as a result the sanctioning body knows that they can stick to their guns and still draw in the racers that make the class a keeper in Fun Ford.

Now go kick that guy's ass.
