Still managed to spin ET streets on the launch a little even after I finally managed a decent burn-out. My classic burn-out of the evening was when I smoked the clutch more than the tires. :oops: Really pretty embarassing.

my mph seemed a little lower, but that probably could be attributed to the weather difference. at least i hope it was weather difference, id like to be trapping about 3-4 mph faster (is that possible in 40 degree weather and lower humidity???)

i really wanna go back sometime soon and work on launching the nittos, i was actually getting it down somewhat until it rained and track prep went to all hell.

We should consider changing this. According to the shack lady Gainesville hosts the Friday night drags every first week of the month (with exception to July 4th). Better competition in Gainesville.

Ryan, i wouldnt worry about it at all right now... Our cars hate the hot and humid air...I think 3-4 mph is definately duable in good cold temps...Oh yeah also learn how to launch and drive...lol:P

i believe alot of people said October. Gainesville raceway holds street legal drags the first friday of every month. I think we should start going to this as a club, like if not every month then bi-monthly. 8)

The ride to Gainesville is shorter and they do the street legal thing the first Friday of every month. Silver Dollar does it every Friday. I'm definitely ready to go again.

Believe it or not it seems like Silver Dollar has their shit more together when it comes to track prep and handling staging lanes. I think we could get more TMCA vs TMCA races at Silver Dollar too. The staging lanes at Gainesville are hard to figure out - sometimes the same staging lane got you the left lane, next time it would be the right. I'm ready for either one though. I WANT 12's.

i think they just got lazy this time. The track prep during the FFW race was absolutely amazing. With the constant on and off rains, they had the track ready to go in like under a half hour everytime there was a rain delay. (of course, that's a high dollar/ high profile race for them though lol)
