just a thread to see what everyone insurance is like.
1. what is your insurance cost? (by montly,6months,or yearly)
2. what kind of car do you drive?
3. what citiations that might have raised your insurance?
Etc. i drive a 04 tiburon Gt, my insurance is 200+ a month, i have about three speeding tickets.

Damn Jay didn't know your car would run fast enough to get a speeding ticket :taunt:
My policy for the tow trucks (2) is $9247.00 per year
2 cars 95 Z and 95 firebird around $600.00 per year full coverage

my wife drives a 05 trailblazer and i drive a 91 camaro, ive got a "failure to stop for a school bus" on my record still, she has nothing. We are both 21. For full coverage on the trailblazer and liability on the camaro and $500 deductibles we pay $110 per month.
3 years ago i was paying $300+ a month on a 96 sunfire :(

I am paying about $900 every 6 months for 99 Mustang GT, 96 Saturn SL1, 03 Mountaineer, and 01 Katana 600. It just went down this last renewal from about $1600 every six months. I guess that is because of 2 things: my last ticket just dropped off, and I turned 30.

On my dads policy it was $98 a month, on my own policy it was close to $300
Needless to say, Im on my dad's. Only driving for 3-4 months now, no tickets, no accidents reported to insurance. (I ran off the road and messed up my front bumper avoiding a dog, but it wont be but $250-300 to fix so Cotton State isn't gonna know)

$960/6 Months with Geico
02 s2000
1 ticket 3 years ago but no points
Seems a little high for a 2.0L to me but way better then the $1420/6 months progressive quoted me. Apparently these cars are often stolen and stripped and parts are expensive. For example, if my seats get stollen (which is common) they are a $8,000 claim as that is the cost of replacement through Honda. Rediculous!!!!

168.00 a month with statefarm, No tickets. 97 cobra
When I hit 25, my insurance took a nose-dive. All the points on my license finally fell off, and I could finally be insured like a regular person. Now, after having a clean driving record for the past few years (and having Attorneys to help me drop points from various infractions during the interim :) ) I am paying $93.00 a month on my car.

i pay 112 a month for full coverage on the SS. it was actually cheaper when i had another car on my policy--go figure. but i'm with cotton states and i'm about to search other pastures--maybe mercury or even geico. my record is clean.
i know some of yall are young but how can anyone afford more than $200 a month?? that wouldn't be worth driving imo.

98 Silverado, was $140 through allstate who also insures my house, i cancelled them and will go with esurance per ryans experiences with them being cheaper. i had 9 citations when allstate checked(it shows them all, sound/seatbelt/etc), but 7 points(i think) that came off february.
however when i had it running for a month or 2....3 stops, no ticketrs(even with no brake lights)
now the bike, 1 month...3 stops(running red lights, speeding), no tickets...no endorsement yet.
"eat your heart out" ryan.
