I called them up about doing some of the crap I need done to my car, and the guy gave ma price over the phone I find hard to believe. He said they could change my tranny fluid and flush my power steering for $45 including the new fluid (GM stuff). I am a little weary of a price that low (it may be because I mentioned Nate like I was told, but I don't know) And that one person who had the motor blow because they put there wastegate on wrong is a little scary.

Any one have any work done by them?

I would not do business with them...I had my blow off valve put on from them and they put it on wrong which caused my motor to hydrolock...Maybe they are better with different jobs, but I wouldn't recommend them

They have done work on both my expedition (tune up, O2 Sensors, and trouble shooting service engine soon light) and my mustang (put on H pipe, oil change and radiator flush). When my service engine soon light came on the truck had been to 4 different shops that did work and reset the light before I took it to them, each time I left those other shops my light came back on within 15 minutes of leaving. I took it to their shop they put it on the computer and found out it was a hose that had come loose causing the truck to run lean. They put the hose back on reset the light and my truck has run wonderful since and no more "service engine soon light." They do good work, get it done quickly and they are good guys and will be fair with you.

Both services for 45?? That sounds like one of them To good to be true deals. I would say take it to Superlube. They charge 89.95...But you can get a 10% off coupon, which helps a little. There more expensive and I dont really care for how they are to employees. But they treat there customers very well. If you get it done, and ANYTHING goes wrong(tranny burns up, etc) they will have it fixed right away, and while being done, get you a renter to bash on. Not sure how many miles ya have, but its an option if ya have under 75k. Then ya aint got to sign a waiver form. Just an Idea  Not sure if any of the tallahassee superlubes flush power steering, I know the perry store doesnt. But who knows, they did alot more services we did.

How can a blow-off valve cause a motor to hydrolock? Sounds like someone is trying to blame the shop for something that is not their fault. Also, it is next to impossible to hook a blow-off valve wrong. It is 2-3 bolts and 1 vacuum line. I am not defending this shop as I have no experience (good or bad) with them. It just doesn't sound quite right.

Maybe instead of attaching the vacume line to his BOV they put it in his windshield washer fluid...that is about the only way they could hydorlock it I can think of.

actually the tube where the blow off valve went wasnt connected all the way.

Was it on the hot side or the cold side? Didn't the owner notice he was leaking boost? So they forgot to connect the pressure pipe then the owner drove through 2' of water? Sounds fishy

hot or cold? it was on the right side of the blow off valve that was dissconnected. just over time dirt and water got in it.

You won't hydrolock a motor just by having the throttle body exposed. The motor has to ingest the water fully to hydrolock. Basically the air intake has to be fully submerged. Otherwise, anyone with a cold air intake would hydrolock their motors. Still sounds fishy.

What would it cost to flush my powersteering, change my transmission fluid/filter, and do some sort of an inspection to see if anything else is about to break?

pm if you want.

Jesus, Justin! Stop worrying about all this stuff that's "about" to break and make that shit fast! You worry like an old woman. Leave the tranny fluid alone, and add some fucking power steering fluid to it. Who the hell flushes out their power steering fluid?

i've never dealt with them but price is way low. $45 dollars would barely cover the cost of fluids alone for a trans and power steering flush.
