Won an auction for some Weld Draglites Skinnies. Paid too much, I think I saved a whopping $20.00 over new. Also ordered longer studs, and wheel spacers. All I need now is the tires and hopefully I'll be ready by the 26th.

I have decided that the rear seat, jack and spare will go. I WANT 12's.

Of course becoming a better driver will help as well and maybe the heaviest single item in the car is the 230lb asshole driving it. A little weight reduction in this area could get me 12's and maybe the wife will give it up a little more too. 8)

LOL, Sweet, Got some skinnies!!! Ya, drop the jack and seats and you should be good to go. You were right there at it last time, I think if you had a few more runs, you would have had it. Talk to Adrian about the front tires, I know he knows where to get them.

Pep Boys is the place, $50 for the pair. You want 165R15 or say you need tires for an old bug.

that may be the biggest problem right there. maybe its diet time. jk man. a friend of mine actually tried that. but he was 275. dropped down to 235. didn't make a difference.

For stock studs, you need an SST style lug 12mm x 1.5". Here they are at jegs SST lugs (http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=22899&prmenbr=361). These are nice and cheap but will rust quick, but its no big deal if the skinnies are a track only mod, i bought some McGard lugs since i ride on my 15s daily. Also i dont know how much longer your new studs are, but i would get an open end SST lug, cause a closed end lug might bottom out. I have some nice washers for ya too.
