    Default Intake Manifold

Took all of the fittings off of the intake manifold tonight in preparation for painting. Probably should powder coat it but I don't have the time/money. At any rate one of the things that Extreme was supposed to have done is port the intake for the the TB. Did they do it, Hell no, not even touched. Probably won't make a noticable difference but I'm going to port match it tomorrow night. Incompetence is one thing, flat out lying and charging for what you didn't do is another. I might have to kick Mike's sorry lying ass if I ever see that SOB again. Effin pisses me off.

    Bo,

I'll probably be doing stuff both Thursday and Friday. Today, (Wednesday), I'm going to try and get the intake an valve covers prepped for paint. Thursday hopefully finish painting and putting the intake back together. Friday start installing new parts, Plugs, Wires, cam, valve springs. I've already got the spring compressor. Only thing I don't have at this point is the spring micrometer. I'm gonna need something to measure installed height. Probably go with a set of dial calipers which I have seen locally.

Lots of stuff left to do. Clean up the crank bolt threads, hopefully I won't have to heli coil it but thats certainly possible. Also ordered some MSD wires, just really haven't been happy with the Taylors and I wanted to try another brand. Oh and I bought 6 quarts of oil and a filter. And a new IAC valve that was toast.

    It's all good.
